Dreaming with Open Eyes

Dreaming With Open Eyes began as an experiential exhibition by Alice Clough and myself, as part of Devon Open Studios in 2019.

 

Visitors joined Alice and I in our mutual explorations and enquiries into wonder, grief, memory and making sense.

 

Through multimedia practices and installations, we used material and found objects to excavate what lies beyond the visible: traces, impressions, articulations.  


Dreaming With Open Eyes was a project celebrating the epic within the everyday, offering a chance for others to experience and participate in the process of understanding with materials.
